The most wonderful father and grandfather who taught me and my daughters so much about life, nature and the countryside of Cumbria and beyond. Moreover, he instilled in us the behaviours and values he held so dear and which contributed to him being widely known and a highly respected member of our community. He showed humour, humility and compassion to all he encountered and was a huge role model for his family that has served us so well through life. Thanks Dad we love and miss you so much.
